The H. Krayer family have been producing delicious wines since 1866 in the heart of Germany’s Rheingau Region and long time experience in the art of winemaking. Producing wines in a cellar from 1868. Owners, Verera and Helmut Solter, have created fabulous still and sparkling wines. Their sparkling wines hold up to the sparkling wines from Champagne. They have transformed the belief that sparkling wine is only for special occasion to being everyday enjoyment.

Since the 1920’s, Paul Schmitt took over his parent’s mixed agricultural business and built it into a widely respected winery. Today our family run winery produces exclusively natural, pure, fully fermented wines that are never fortified with any added sugar. You will receive natural, authentic reflections of the respective variety, location and vintage. With this winemaking philosophy, you do get honest and characterful wines that are second to none.
